Unleashing My Inner 6-Year Old Fangirl
Did I mention how magical Florida was? I think I've mentioned that it was super magical. And a huge part of that magical-ness was because we went to Universal Studios Orlando. Universal Studios was fun--we went on the Hulk Ride and played around in Seuss Landing like little kids. But my most favorite part of Universal Orlando was...drumroll please....
HARRY POTTER WORLD!
Praise Buddha, we finally went to Harry Potter World. HALLELUJAH. I've LOVED Harry Potter ever since the first book came out when I was about 6 years old. I grew up reading and watching the entire series, and they will always be my favorite. I always wished that Harry Potter was real and that I would get to go to Hogwarts as a Gryffindor (definitely Gryffindor, not Hufflepuff!). We also met up with my dearest friend Anya, who I haven't seen in like a year which is WAYYY TOO LONG. She was a pro at showing us all the best Harry Potter stuff, then all the little kid stuff, and of course where all the good food was at. Getting to see Harry Potter World in real life, from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade and all the stores and little foods, was a complete dream come true. The inner 6-year old in me was freaking out BIG TIME. I was definitely fan-girling like crazy. And it was even better getting to spend time with Anya there and catching up with a year's worth of stories and funnies. It was the absolute most perfect place for a reunion and it was the most perfect day. Side note: I thought it was so funny how everything looked like it was Christmas time, with all the fake snow, even though it was like 100 degrees that day.
Also, anyone who hasn't tried Butterbeer before definitely has to try it, because that stuff is sooo delicious. It tastes like butterscotch, but wayy better. If I could, I would have taken home a giant bucket of it. Cheers to Harry and Butterbeer x 100000000 ❤❤❤❤❤
