Everybody has things that they're scared of, and not everybody has the same fears. I happen to have a lot of fears, and a lot of them I know are irrational, but they still terrify me.
1. Bigfoot
I have no idea why, but Bigfoot terrifies me. Even hearing someone say the word Bigfoot or seeing some article about a Bigfoot sighting gives me anxiety. Whenever I'm browsing through channels and I see that the Finding Bigfoot show is on, I get scared. Even though I know that Bigfoot is an urban legend and may or may not be real, I am still soooo terrified that one day I will be the person who runs into him. That is honestly one of my biggest nightmares.
2. Clowns
I hate clowns. They're scary and not funny and I have no idea why anybody thought it was a good idea to have clowns at kids' birthday parties. And, seriously, why do clowns have to paint on their makeup like that and wear big wigs? The makeup and wigs just make them look even scarier than they already are. I'm pretty sure 80% of kids get nightmares from looking at them.
3. Dolls
Dolls. OMG. Those porcelain dolls that look like real babies FREAK ME OUT. Especially those little porcelain clown dowels. They give me nightmares. I don't get nightmares very often, but when I do, they're always about creepy little dolls that are coming after me but I can't move or run away.
4. Being eaten alive by rats
I've had this fear ever since the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. There's that one scene where the guy gets a rat put on his stomach with a bucket over it, and then they heat up the bucket so it gets really hot. The rat has nowhere to run so it just ends up digging a hole into the guy's stomach. And it is so gross and I never want that to happen to me. Or to anyone. Because that is a gruesome way to die. Ugh.
5. Paranormal movies
I can watch any type of movie except for the paranormal ones. I'm okay with scary movies as long as they're bloody gory ones or thrillers, but not if they involve anything at all paranormal. I can count on one hand how many paranormal scary movies I've watched in my entire life--3. And I hated all 3 of them. I couldn't sleep for days after watching them.
6. Cats
I'm super allergic to cats, so much that I can't breathe around them. Literally I feel like cats are out to kill me by making my airways swell up until I can't breathe at all and I die. I also don't want to die because of cats, and end up getting licked by those cats like Halle Berry did in the Catwoman movie. I hate/am scared of cats. And they need to stay away from me.
7. Bones finally ending
Bones is my favorite show ever and it's already going to be in its 10th season. 10 seasons of a show is a lot. I hope the show never ends, because once it does, I don't know what I'll watch. I've already watched every episode multiple times, but I still love watching it on Netflix or when its on TV. I can never get tired of it and I can't wait for the next season. Please never ever end.
8. Heights, but only sometimes
I'm scared of heights on special occasions. Like if I'm somewhere high on a bridge or rock climbing, and theres nothing really under me to keep me falling to my death, I get so scared and can't move. But if I'm just on a high balcony with a solid floor under me, I'm not scared at all. It all depends on if I can see under me or not.
Now after writing all of those things down, I'm a little bit scared. Yaaay.
