A Big Ball and A Disney Princess
The 2nd stop on our adventures in Disney World was the Epcot, where we found the gigantic Epcot ball, otherwise known as Spaceship Earth. At first I thought it was just a ginormous ball there for decoration and aesthetic purposes, but it turns out that Spaceship Earth is an actual ride. And it was a pretty cool ride actually--a good ride to go on after a long hot day in the Florida sun. And it was a nice relaxing slow ride, so even Grandma got to go on it with us :)
But before we went on Spaceship Earth (our last ride we did before we left), did some other awesome things... like explore Future World and go on the Test Track and hang out with Nemo and his friends in a really cute musical version of Finding Nemo. SO CUTE. And even though I'm 22 years old, I'm not ashamed to say that I wish I could watch it again!
We also walked around the World Showcase area. I really loved this part of Epcot. I loved seeing all the different areas for each different country. I loved eating surprisingly delicious Chinese food in China, and the freshly baked French pastries in France served to us by the cute French server. And after watching Frozen like 4 times, I loved seeing the inspiration for the movie in Norway.
But I'd have to say, the absolute best part of the entire day was getting to meet Mulan. My hero. The best Disney princess ever, even though she really isn't considered a Disney princess and is only considered the hero of China. But, pretty much the same thing right?? Seriously, Disneyland has never had a Mulan come out for pictures, so I was so excited when we found Mulan at Disney World. SO EXCITED. And when I brought up the whole, why doesn't Disneyland ever have a Mulan out, Mulan had the best answer ever. She said she was too busy helping Shang save the world from the Huns.
THANK YOU MULAN FOR KEEPING US SAFE. YOU'RE THE BEST.
