It's Monday! I took a little walk down memory lane to last summer in Europe, when I did a study abroad program in London. It was probably the most amazing summer and most fun traveling experience of my life. I realize looking through all the pictures that I'm probably just going to have to do a million Monday Memories dedicated to that summer because it was full of amazing memories.
Side note: Gotta love those iPhone4 quality photos....LOL.
So the first thing we saw basically were these flags all over London commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Queen's coronation. It happened right before we got to London, so that was cool.
We got tea at Harrods! The first time I've ever had afternoon tea, but I've definitely had it loads more times since then because it was soo good and so fun.
Obligatory telephone booth of course. The phone both across the street from St. Paul's Cathedral.
Our first excursion in London to St. Paul's Cathedral. This was the view from the top of St. Paul's. We climbed all the way to the top of the dome (like over 1000 steps!!) And then we had to climb all the way down again... We were so tired.
The best hot dog ever from Borough Market in a French bread bun. There were tons of amazing food stalls there, but we kept going back for these hot dogs.
Conway Hall. Our home :)
I'm pretty sure this was in front of the Houses of Parliament. Like 85% sure.
Me and my buddy, Big Ben.
Probably the most Londoniest picture I took. Big Ben. The London Eye. The double decker bus. A cab painted like the British flag.
More London/Europe adventures to come next week since there was absolutely no way to fit the summer into one post. xx
